  • CYS School Age Centers will offer standard before and after school care.
  • The JBLM Youth Center will offer standard after school open recreation programming.

JBLM Reunited!

JBLM is pulling out the stops on end-of-summer festivities with JBLM Reunited Aug. 25-28.

DPFR will be starting the week off with Retiree Appreciation Day Wednesday, Aug. 25, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at Waller Hall, open to military and civilian retirees, guests and personnel.

Next up is Brigade Sports Day Thursday, Aug. 26 at the Lewis North Athletic Complex, open to active duty Service members. Contact your unit CSM for details.

Single Service Member Day is Friday, Aug. 27, 6:30 a.m.–4 p.m. at Warrior Zone and adjacent areas. The day features entertainment, competitions, prizes, canvas painting and more. Food will be available for purchase. All single Service members are invited to attend.

The 5K Light Up the Night Run is also Friday starting at 8:30 p.m. at Jensen Family Health & Fitness Center’s parking lot with glow-in-the-dark items, DJ music and a light show. The event is open to all DOD ID card holders; the cost is $25 per runner. Find sign-up details at JBLMraces.com.

The main event is Saturday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m.–8 p.m. at Cowan and Memorial stadiums with roving entertainers, stage acts, kids’ games, pump track (bring your bicycle and helmet), military static displays, fair food, water slides, climbing wall, car show and more. This event is for JBLM DOD ID card holders and guests.
