Since 1981, this campaign has helped raise awareness of the perils of driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. With this period being the peak of the holiday season after Thanksgiving and before New Year’s, it is imperative to not only be aware during your travel but to also have a plan.
Here are some tips:
⇒ Plan ahead and designate a sober driver
⇒ Serve food along with alcohol free beverages at gatherings
⇒ Stop serving alcohol 1 to 2 hours before the end of gatherings
Drink responsibly, drive responsibly, and encourage others to do the same!

JBLM Risk Reduction provides education & early intervention to help commanders and service members reduce lifestyle risk factors to increase healthy outcomes.
