We Provide: Transportation, kayak and paddle, safety gear, wet suit, PFD, 1 dinner and 1 breakfast meal, camping gear and instruction/guide.
You Provide: Water, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, tolietries, any comfort item you may need and appropriate clothing.
Clothing: The weather in the Pacific Northwest can change drastically, we recommend dressing in layers. No cotton clothing, it is a negative insulator that retains water. We recommend wool, fleece, quick-drying nylon, polyester or another synthetic fabric.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your location's scheduled departure time.
You must cancel at least 48 hours prior to trip departure or "reserve by" date, whichever comes first.
All participants under 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
Join our ACA instructors as we experience the San Juan Islands for a 4 day “learn as you go” sea kayaking adventure. Whether you’re an experienced paddler or beginner, this trip is designed to help boost your confidence and get you out exploring areas you never thought imaginable. You and a friend will buddy up in one of our brand new 3 person kayaks designed just for this adventure. As a group, we’ll explore the San Juan Islands’ pristine coastal environment, and view the native habitat. In addition to kayaking, there will be opportunities for hiking, beach combing, exploring, socializing, photography, and relaxing! Spend some time this summer enjoying an exclusive island adventure while increasing your paddling and kayak trip planning skills.
