Join us at McChord Library on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. for our Mushroom Hunting Workshop (adults only). The Pacific Northwest is known for its breathtaking temperate rainforest environment, which just so happens to be the perfect template for something that isn’t quite flora or fauna: the mushroom. Come learn about the fabulous fungi of the PNW as we welcome the South Sound Mushroom Club to teach us the mycological mysteries of our local environment and how you can safely learn to forage for them and cook them up at home.
