Fields of Friendly Strife is a competition-based program for units! Earn points and bragging rights for your unit by participating in sports, races, esports and more!

How it works: Active duty Service members and their families can participate in Fields of Friendly Strife events and earn points for their unit toward the FoFS Commander’s Cup, which will be presented at the end of the competition year by JBLM Leadership.
How to register: Visit the Intramural Sports office located in Cowan Stadium or through JBLMraces.com.
There are two divisions: Brigade/Group and Battalion/Squadron. Service members and families receive points for participation for their unit in a wide variety of events that include: intramural sports, races, Warrior Zone programming, bowling, golf, etc. Events are hosted at a variety of locations to include Lewis Main, Lewis North and McChord Field.

Points Types
Participation:
Service members earn points for participation in individual events (1) and team events (10) and more points for top placement in competitive events.
Commander Participation:
Unit commanders can earn 10 points by sending a “selfie” of their attendance at any Field of Friendly Strife events and emailing to JBLMfofs@army.mil.
Championship:
Service members earn additional points for team-based and individual competition. Teams winning first place overall receive 50 points for their unit, second place is 25 points. First-place individuals receive 7 points, second-place 5 points and third-place 3 points.
