Sporting Clays

Join us at the JBLM Shotgun Shooting Complex for the Sporting Clays target shoot! Sign-ups day of from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Shooting starts at 10:30 a.m. No shotgun? Rent one for $10! Park inside Scouts Out Gate and walk out to the range, or travel from East Gate Road through the training area.

Entry fee: $35 (plus cost of ammo) Currently $11 for a box of 25 shells of 12 gauge, and $10.55 for a box of 20 gauge. Ammo prices are subject to change.

Note: All guns being brought onto any part of JBLM must be registered at a Directorate of Emergency Services' registration office. Offices are located in Waller Hall on Lewis Main, and at either the Lewis Main or McChord Field Visitor Centers. New gun registration form can be acquired by accessing the installation link and filling out HJB FORM 816-1 2014. (Do not bring firearms inside the building).

Personnel are responsible for ensuring that guns being transported are not loaded and in a soft or hard gun case. Ammunition will be stored separately and all items will be located out of arm’s reach (e.g., trunk, back seat, etc).
