Wilderness First Aid

All Students are required to have current First Aid, CPR, and AED training before WFA course date. This is available to every student the Friday night from 6pm - 8pm before your course for an extra $25.

Wilderness first aid:

You Provide: bag or backpack packed with everything you would bring on a normal hiking trip for you, Grungy clothing you don't mind getting ruined (stained, cut, torn), and appropriate food for the day.

We Provide: Learning Materials, Instruction, and Certification card in the mail.

TRIP DESCRIPTION:
Make sure you are prepared in case of an emergency while out in the wild. Take the American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid course to receive 2 years certification. This 16-hour course will cover how to handle first aid and evacuation procedures in a wilderness environment.
All participants must have a current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification. Available upon request for $35, JBLM offers free classes on post.
This course is designed for those ages 16 years and older.

COST:
$125 per person
$35 for CPR certification
