The Big One. At 14,440 ft, this iconic volcano, which dominates the landscape around JBLM, holds more than five times the glaciated area of all the other Cascade volcanoes combined. Join us as we attempt to summit one of the taller mountains in North America. We will have three full-packed days of adventure, exploration and glory in our attempt for success!

We will use the Disappointment Cleaver Route: Called the "DC Route," this is the most popular route to the summit of Washington state's highest mountain. Climb 9,000 feet on snowfields and glaciers. Travel a short distance on rock on the cleaver and possibly cross ladders. Enjoy a "top of the world" view from the summit.  Times: 6-8 hours trailhead to camp, 5-8 hours camp to summit.

Registration for one of the nine slots available is based on schooling and experience. The more mountaineering training and climbs you have on your resume, the better chance you have of getting on the climb.

Max Participants: 9
ODR Provides: Climb Leader, permits, all technical climbing and group equipment
