Carbon River Bikepacking Trip

$120 - Join us as we bike through the rain forest of Mount Rainer National Park following the Carbon River five miles towards Carbon Glacier. Parts of the carbon river road were washed out back in the November 2006 floods, bicyclist now share the road with pedestrians but the road is closed to motor vehicle traffic. Difficulty = Easy; Distance = 9.2 Miles; Elevation Gain = 600 feet; Time = 3 hours.

We Provide: Transportation, helmet, full suspension or hard tail 29R mountain bike, Tent, Sleeping Pad, Cooking Stove and instruction/guide.

You Provide: Water/food, appropriate clothing, footwear, Sleeping Bag and your personal camp comfort items.

Extra Items: Sun screen/sunglasses, camera, and protective eyewear (optional).

Clothing: The weather in the Pacific Northwest can change drastically, we recommend dressing in layers. No cotton clothing, it is a negative insulator that retains water. We recommend wool, fleece, quick-drying nylon, polyester or another synthetic fabric. Please ensure that the right pant leg is easily rolled up, zips off, or is easily secured. It is recommended that you wear padded biking pants or shorts.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your location's scheduled departure time.

You must cancel at least 72 hours prior to trip departure or "reserve by" date, whichever comes first.

All participants under 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. You are more than welcome to bring your little ones as long as you have the capability to tow them or they can ride the 5.5 miles.
