JBLM Half-Marathon 5K & 1K

Challenge yourself at the 2nd Annual JBLM Half Marathon on Saturday, Sept. 19. Whether you're ready to conquer 13.1 miles, tackle the 5K or cheer on a young runner in the 1K, this event offers something for participants of all ages and experience levels.

The 1K begins at 9 a.m., followed by the 5K and half marathon at approximately 9:15 a.m. All three courses travel through McChord Field on primarily paved routes featuring rolling hills. RACE ROUTES MAP

Half marathon participants must maintain an 18-minute-per-mile pace or faster, complete the entire course and finish within four hours.

Registration

Military affiliated

• Half Marathon or 5K: $30
• 1K: $15

Non-military affiliated

• Half Marathon or 5K: $35
• 1K: $20

Online registration closes Wednesday, Sept. 16

Day-of-race registration will be available from 7-8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Heritage Hill Park, located near the intersection of Col Joe Jackson Boulevard and Pitsenbarger Boulevard.

Please note that registration fees are nonrefundable.

Packet pickup

Packet pickup will take place Friday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Heritage Hill Airpark on McChord Field.

Each participant packet includes:

• Event T-shirt*
• Custom race bib

All finishers will receive a custom commemorative medal after crossing the finish line.

*Participants who register by Aug. 31 are guaranteed an event T-shirt at packet pickup. T-shirts will not be available after Aug. 31.

Event schedule

Friday, Sept. 18

• 11 a.m.-6 p.m.: Packet pickup at Heritage Hill Airpark

Saturday, Sept. 19

• 7-8 a.m.: Day-of-race registration and packet pickup at Heritage Hill Park
• 9 a.m.: 1K begins
• Approximately 9:15 a.m.: JBLM Half Marathon and 5K begin
