JBLM Shamrock Run 5K

Come out and join us for our first race of 2025 as we celebrate St Patrick’s Day at our Shamrock 5K and 1K on Saturday, March 15.

The 1K starts at 11 a.m., followed by the 5K at approximately 11:15 a.m. After the race hang out and enjoy an Irish Stew Combo consisting of Irish stew, bread and lucky charm rice krispie treat (tickets available for purchase), enjoy music and browse the JBLM Spring Flea Market.

Race Fees are as follows:
5K & 1K - FREE

Ticket for Irish Stew, bread and rice krispie treat (Optional) - $10*
Race T-shirt (Optional) - $10*
*Small administrative fee may apply when registering online.
Please note that medals are no longer available for races. 

Deadline for purchasing a ticket for the Irish Stew Combo and/or a T-shirt is Tuesday, Feb. 18. Online registration closes Wednesday, March 12 at 11:59 p.m.


The 5K loop course is mainly flat and runs through a historical area of Joint Base-Lewis McChord. The 1K course is a flat road course that incorporates a partial lap on the track. Packet Pickup will take place at Jensen Human Performance (2202 Liggett Ave., Lewis Main) on March 14 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Active duty/units can earn Fields of Friendly Strife points! If enrolling your unit, please email JBLMsfa@army.mil. Does not include the optional shirt/Irish Stew.


Day of Race registration and packet pickup will take place between 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. inside the MWR Fest Tent, near Bowl Arena Lanes, S 12th Street, Lewis-Main.

Packets will consist of the following:

• Event T-Shirt (optional)
• Irish Stew Combo Ticket (optional)
• Custom Bib
