Kids' Fest

We have so much fun for you at Kids’ Fest Saturday, April 24, 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m.! Here’s just some of the fun going on in and around Cowan Stadium and the MWR Fest Tent:

• Bowling has been completely booked up for Saturday! Free bowling — Families get free bowling at Bowl Arena Lanes 1–7 p.m. Lanes will be available each hour. Families must call 253-967-4661 and make reservations ahead of time.
• Sports — Football skills competition at Cowan Stadium, baseball skills competition at the CYS field, an obstacle course, basketball shooting hoop and mini-golf.
• Games — Ring toss, fishing game, pick a duck, corn hole, can toss, milk bottle throw, topple a can, duck game and more!
• Crafts and activities — Balloon education, bubbles with recycling materials, balance butterfly and pinwheels, coloring books, temporary tattoos, preparedness guides, crafts, photo booth and more. Also pick up Out & About Bingo cards from the photo booth for a destination hunt with prizes.
• Super Smash Bros. competition will be held inside the MWR Fest Tent sign-ups start at 11 a.m. Register at the event.
• Skateboard competition – Sign up at the Skate Park at 11 a.m. Helmets are required and parents must sign a waiver for their youth.  Waiver

  11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Open skate and registration
  12:45 p.m.: Introduction and rules
  1-1:45 p.m.: Beginners (11 and under)
  2-2:45 p.m.: Intermediate/Advanced (12-17 unless skilled enough to enter as 11 or under)
  3 p.m.: Awards
  3:15 p.m.: Highest Ollie contest (all ages and abilities)

Note: COVID-19 mitigation will be followed, including hand-sanitation stations, masks and physical distancing.
