Nov. Fit Club Challenges

Challenges run Nov. 1-Dec. 31

Death Grip 400

• Each participant will walk/run 400 meters as fast as possible with two 40 lb. kettlebells/dumbbells (one in each hand). Weights cannot rest on shoulders.

• Kettlebells/dumbbells eligible for check out from Cowan Stadium Mon-Fri with prior coordination.

Challenge 2021

• Participants will perform 2,021 repetitions out of 4 exercise options; Sit Ups, Push Ups, Air Squats, or Burpees.

Annotate name, contact information, and proof of completion/verification (photo/video), send to usarmy.jblm.imcom.list.dfmwr-sports@mail.mil.

INCENTIVES

• First 50 finishers for each event receive a Fit Club T-shirt.

• Fastest male & female of Death Grip 400 will receive Kettle Bell.

• First male & female to complete 2,021 repetitions will receive custom Fit Club Hoodie.

• Rogue Echo Bike drawing announced 1/5/2022.

 


Death Grip 400

RULES

 1.       Participation open to authorized patrons at JBLM MWR.

 2.       Participation is voluntary and at participant's own risk.

 3.       Participation is free of any charge.

 4.       Kettlebells/dumbbells eligible for check out from Cowan Stadium Mon.-Fri. with prior coordination.

 5.       The competition is outlined as follows:

-          Participants walk/run feet as possible while holding two 40 lb kettlebells/dumbbells (one in each hand). Weights cannot rest on shoulders.

-          Participant may set down kettlebells/dumbbells at any point but cannot make forward progress.

-          Participant photo or verification by staff, as well as Garmin, Strava, etc. must be submitted to prove completion.

-          This photo/video will be submitted along with name and contact information to usarmy.jblm.imcom.list.dfmwr-sports@mail.mil for verification purposes

-          Once verified, the distance traveled with kettlebells/dumbbells will be posted on the leader board for the challenge. This will be updated via the Facebook Event page on a continual basis as submissions are received and verified.

-          Weekly (Mondays) a most current updated standing will be published to the Facebook Event page.

6.       First 50 participants who complete the challenge receive a T-shirt.

7.       Male and Female with quickest time 400 meters traveled will receive custom Sparta Kettlebell.

 


Challenge 2021

RULES

1.       Participation open to authorized patrons at JBLM MWR.

2.       Participation is voluntary and at participant's own risk.

3.       Participation is free of any charge.

4.       Participants will perform 2,021 repetitions out of 4 exercises options; Sit Ups, Push Ups, Air Squats, or Burpees.

5.       The competition is outlined as follows:

-    Complete 2,021 repetitions.

o   Repetitions can be completed/accumulated over the period of November 1-December 31, 2021.

o   Participants can receive multiple entries for Grand Prize Drawing:

  • 2,021 Sit-Ups -1 entry
  • 2,021 Push-Ups- 1 entry
  • 2,021 Air Squats- 1 entry
  • 2,021 Burpees- 2 entries

o   Completion of all exercises for 2021 repetitions will receive an additional 5 entries into the Grand Prize Drawing

-          Daily proof of submission photo/video will be submitted along with name and contact information to: usarmy.jblm.imcom.list.dfmwr-sports@mail.mil  for verification purposes

-          Once verified, the progress of the participant will be posted on the completion board for the challenge. This will be updated via the Facebook Event page on a continual basis as submissions are received and verified.

-          Weekly (Mondays) a most current updated standing will be published to the Facebook Event page.

6.       First 50 to complete any of the movements with 2021 repetitions will receive a Fit Club T-shirt.

7.       The first male & female participants to complete 2021 repetitions will receive custom Fit Club Hoodie.
