We Provide: Transportation and instruction/guide.

You Provide: Camera, lunch, water and camera accessories.

Optional: Tripod, extra batteries and SD cards

Clothing: The weather in the Pacific Northwest can change drastically, we recommend dressing in layers. No cotton clothing, it is a negative insulator that retains water. We recommend wool, fleece, quick-drying nylon, polyester or another synthetic fabric.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your location's scheduled departure time.

You must cancel at least 48 hours prior to trip departure or "reserve by" date, whichever comes first.

All participants under 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.

TRIP DESCRIPTION: 
We will spend the night exploring the park and the Milky Way at Mount St Helens. An excellent introduction to Astrophotography for beginners, and an excellent location for experienced photographers to take their craft to the next level. This workshop requires that you have a DLSR (or Mirrorless) camera which allows for manual settings of Aperture, Exposure duration and ISO and a tripod. Participants under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Meet at the Northwest Adventure Center at 6 p.m.
