Come enjoy the evening at the annual Wine & Jazz Festival Saturday, March 23 at McChord Club. Make a date and invite your friends for live jazz performances with Maureese Itson and Brandon Willis, wine tasting and more from 5 to 8 p.m. Local wineries are bringing in their specialties for a variety of sampling!
McChord Grill is offering special wine-tasting appetizer platters. Order your platter ahead of time and share the cost of the platter with your friends.
- Platter 1 costs $10. It includes smoked salmon canape with dill cream cheese, mixed nuts, olives, fruit skewer with strawberry glaze, salami slices and white cheddar cheese cubes.
- Platter 2 costs $25 and includes everything on platter 1, plus tomato and basil bruschetta, deep-fried deviled eggs, melon, prosciutto and basil canape, fried butternut squash ravioli with walnut-sage pesto and phyllo shells filled with Brie and topped with pear compote.
Cost
Admission is $15 per person at the door (ages 21 and older with base access and their sponsored guests). Club members pay $12 at the door. Admission includes four 3-ounce tastings and a wine glass. Buy additional wine tastings for $2 each or three for $5.
