Grandstaff/Book Patch Summer Reading Events
Grandstaff-June 12: Summer Reading Kickoff
Registered participants may pick up their T-shirts and welcome packets. Throughout the day, we'll have board game and video game stations set up and show three movies, too. You can also enjoy a magical beast-themed scavenger hunt, play the "Dr. Who" quotes quiz, have a look at magical-themed materials, complete activity sheets and pick up bookmarks.
McChord-June 12: Teddy Bear Picnic
Instead of going out into the woods today, come over to the McChord Library at 5 p.m. and picnic with us and your favorite stuffed animals. Enjoy some stories, sing songs, listen to music and visit with some other special bears!

McChord-June 26 Birds of Prey Northwest
Come to the McChord Libaray at 5 p.m. and meet Janie Veltcamp, a biologist who specializes in birds of prey, and her stunning avian ambassadors. Learn about these amazing birds up close and personal.
Grandstaff-June 28: Nerf Battle Royale
Battle it out inside the library during our individual and team competitions. Bring your own Nerf guns and we'll supply the Nerf ammo.
Grandstaff-June 30-July 5: Pac-Man Week
Chomp your way through our maze of activities this week.
Grandstaff-June 30: Pac-Man Costume Contest
Dress as your favorite Pac-Man character and stop by to show off your costume. Best-dressed winners will be chosen the next day. Prizes will be 3D-printed bookmarks and 3D-printed Pac-Man characters.
