Start Strong at Your New Duty Station

When you arrive at a new installation, everything can feel unfamiliar – new streets, new buildings, new rules. The Newcomer Orientation helps you get settled, learn how things work, and feel at home faster.

Newcomer Orientation Meeting

It’s a great way to:

  • Learn about base services, programs, and policies
  • Get tips about schools, housing, and child care
  • Meet other newcomers and ask questions
  • Hear from key community leaders and organizations

If you miss an orientation or arrive between scheduled dates, ACS can still give you a welcome packet and answer your questions one-on-one.

Check out the ACS calendar for dates, times, and registration information.
