1615 – Gates Open 
Attendees will be authorized early entry beginning at 1615. Stadium seating is first-come, first-served and will be available at this time to allow guests to settle in prior to the opening ceremony and first bout. 

1655 – Opening Ceremony
The event will officially begin with an opening ceremony featuring the National Anthem performed by a vocalist from the renowned America’s First Corps Band. The ceremony will also include event introductions and final welcome remarks prior to the start of competition.

1715 – First Fight Begins
The first bout is scheduled to begin at approximately 1715. The evening will feature eight action-packed fights showcasing service members and competitors from across Joint Base Lewis-McChord and the surrounding community.

Main Event Timeline:
• 1615 – Doors Open / VIP Seating starts
• 1655 – Opening Ceremony & National Anthem
• 1715 – Fight Card Begins
• Approximately 2030 – Event Conclusion

Additional Information:
• Food and beverages will be available to purchase throughout the event.
• Spectators are encouraged to arrive early due to anticipated attendance.
• Walkout music, fighter introductions, and full production lighting/audio will be part of the event experience.
• This event is designed to showcase warrior spirit, discipline, combatives excellence and esprit de corps across the force.

Join us for JBLM's Freedom Fest! On Saturday, June 27, revel in a day full of pre-Fourth of July festivities at Cowan and Memorial Stadiums to celebrate America's 250th Birthday! All activities, entertainment, static displays and concerts are free; only the carnival, Kids World inflatables, food, beverage and craft vendors require payment.

*Non-DoW ID cardholders, without a DoW sponsor in the vehicle, must register online before entry. Real ID required for ages 18 & older.
The general public is required to enter through DuPont Gatepark at the satellite parking area and take the shuttle to the event site. DuPont Gate will be open to inbound traffic from noon to 8 p.m. Outbound traffic will be open from noon until approximately midnight.

Freedom Fest attendees can expect roving entertainers such as juggling clowns and balloon artists, carnival rides, food trucks, vendor booths, bounce houses and on-stage entertainment.

  • Kids' Stage: Magicians, jugglers and live reptiles at Reptile Isle.

  • Main Stage: Live music from Groove Nation (Top 40s), Hella Good (No Doubt Tribute) and headliner American Authors

Carnival
The Funtastic carnival is back! They'll have eight to 10 major rides, six kiddie rides and two game booths. Major rides will be chosen from Twister, Roundup, Tilt-A-Whirl, Ferris Wheel, Scrambler, Double-Loop, Bumper Kars, Astro Liners, Merry-Go-Round, Zumur, Spider, Paratrooper, Rock-O-Plane, Dark Ride or Giant Slide. 
Ticket Cost: Starts at 60¢ each, drops in price the more you buy. Rides cost between 12-13 tickets each.

WHAT TO EXPECT

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, you’ll notice an increased security presence throughout the event, including uniformed personnel, military working dog teams and bag checks.

Please plan ahead and expect delays at the gate. Leave yourself plenty of time to get through security and enjoy the festivities once you arrive.

To help keep things moving smoothly:
• Limit the number of bags and personal items you bring.
• Only service animals are permitted at the event; pets are not authorized.
• Review the full list of prohibited items in advance, listed below.

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR NON-DOW ID CARD HOLDERS
• Pre-registration ensures the fastest and most efficient access to the event.
• Walk-ups will be accepted but should expect delays.

JBLM ACCESS FOR NON-DOW ID CARD HOLDERS
• All non-DoW ID card holders must use the DuPont Gate to access the event.
• Individuals without a DoW ID who arrive at another gate will be redirected.
• Shuttle service will be available from the DuPont event parking area to the festival site.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
  • NO DRUGS: Marijuana and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on federal installations.
  • NO CONCEALED WEAPONS: JBLM does not recognize any concealed weapons permits.
  • NO WEAPONS: Knives (of any sort or size), firearms (regardless of credential or CWP), scissors, tasers, stun guns, pepper spray/mace, pocket tools, box cutters, nunchakus, batons, toys that resemble guns, laser pointers, fireworks, ammunition, etc. 
  • NO WHEELS: Skateboards, skates, rollerblades, Heelys, scooters, bikes, hoverboards, Segways, electric unicycles, Onewheels and the like are not permitted. 
  • NO PETS: Exception – Medical Service Dogs (harnessed and leashed) and Military Working Dogs. Emotional Support Animals are not considered service animals.
  • NO OUTSIDE FOOD: Food, coolers, cans/bottles, glass containers, alcohol or liquids are not permitted. Exception – baby food.
  • NO LARGE BAGS: Bags may be either clear stadium-approved plastic tote bags (not to exceed 12” x 12” x 6”) or school-size backpacks (not to exceed 20” x 15”). Exceptions: oxygen tanks.
  • NO LARGE LAWN CHAIRS: Standard-sized folding camping chairs are allowed but must be out of bags when searched.
  • NO TENTS, POP-UP CANOPY, AWNINGS or LARGE GOLF/BEACH UMBRELLAS: Exception – standard umbrellas not exceeding 40” (when opened) are allowed.
  • NO DRONES, FLYERS OR RADIO EQUIPMENT: Remote control aircraft, all flying/bouncing objects, balloons, spray paint and silly string are not permitted.
  • NO SMOKING except in designated areas. No marijuana vape concentrate.
  • NO SELFIE STICKS 
PERMITTED ITEMS
  • WATER: Water in store-bought, unopened/sealed clear plastic bottles, empty refillable drink containers, and empty hydration pack (i.e., CamelBaks) are allowed. 
  • STROLLER, WHEELCHAIRS, ETC: Wheelchairs, walking aids, strollers and wagons are allowed. Strollers cannot exceed 31” x 52” and wagons cannot exceed 19” x 33”.
  • BABY ITEMS: Baby food, milk/formula, strollers, and diaper bags are allowed. 
  • SERVICE DOGS: Only medical service dogs are allowed (harnessed and leashed). Emotional Support Animals are not considered service animals.
