Getting the Flu Vaccine

There are 3 options for getting the flu vaccine. 

For all TRICARE beneficiaries 6 months or older, we will be hosting vaccination events at Lewis North School Age Center on Oct. 14 from Noon-3:00 p.m. and again at McChord School Age Center on Oct. 16 from Noon-3:00 p.m.

There will be final Community Outreach Flu Vaccination event at Madigan Army Medical Center Medical Mall on Oct. 24 & 25 from 8:00 a.m.-3 p.m.

You can also get your vaccine from a participating TRICARE covered retail pharmacy at no cost, as well as via military treatment facilities or clinics, available to all TRICARE Active Duty and Civilian beneficiaries.

Flu shots are required for all CYS personnel and children/youth by Dec. 1, 2025

Documentation is required for all CYS personnel, children enrolled in Full-Day care and children/youth attending Before and After/Open Rec programming who are not enrolled in public school. Children or staff without a flu shot or requested waiver will not be able to attend or participate in activities after Dec. 1. If you require a medical or non-medical (religious) waiver form, please see your center/program director, or Parent Central Services. Thank  you.
