You can register for any opportunities available in three ways:
- In person at available position locations.
- Online at Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS), Volunteer Management Information System (armyfamilywebportal.com)
- Register on Eventbrite page on listed events/opportunities. Those wishing to volunteer will be asked at minimum to fill out/complete a Volunteer Agreement Form (DD 2793)
- What to expect?

Once your application is processed (online) you will be contacted with information on position requirements and start date/timeline.
If applying in person for one time event, you will register and then be briefed onsite the day of event.
All volunteers will go through an orientation; formal for sustained positions and informal for one time event.
The orientation will go over expectations, skills and knowledge to execute task, safety guidance’s and policies applicable to position, and any other pertinent information. You will be given a POC to contact for questions/information.
