Mt. Rainier is a recognizable icon of the State of Washington. How many of us have wondered what it would be like to climb to the top and what preparations and conditioning are needed to do so?
Our very own Mountaineering Instructors will share what they did to prepare themselves and others for more than one successful summit of the mountain and other mountains in the region. The presentation will include discussion on individual and group preparation, gear selection, and a slide show of their climb on the Disappointment Cleaver route. The audience can ask questions and perhaps begin their own quest to go on an epic climb.
