Outdoor Rec water sports equipment rental

Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rentals

Prices do not include gas. Rentals are due back by 5 p.m. Motorboats, pontoons and jet skis may be reserved in advance.

Boating Requirements
You must have a Washington State Boater Education ID card or equivalent in order to rent a pontoon or motorboat. All boats come with appropriate safety equipment — life jackets, flotation cushion, oars or paddles, anchor, motor shut-off key and instructions on boating operations. You must return all equipment at the completion of your rental. To obtain a Washington State Boater Education ID card, visit boatus.org/washington, register and complete the exam. Upon completion, print out the certificate and bring it or your permanent boater card to the office when you rent a watercraft. All patrons renting a motorized boat are required to purchase fuel consumed upon the return of the boat.

Paddling
For paddling (canoe, kayak and SUPS), please take the required free paddle sports safety course at https://www.boaterexam.com/paddling/

Reservation cancellations
Reservation cancellations or alterations, outside of 72 hours prior to rental, will be charged $10 cancellation change fee for each reservation. Inside 72 hours, patron will forfeit the deposit that was taken to hold the item.
