Catch all your favorite sporting events on big-screen TVs, gaming, pool and movies. It's also JBLM's center for the Better Opportunities for Single Service Members program.

Whispering Firs features 18 holes and 6,646 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.8 and it has a slope rating of 122 on Blue grass. Overall, the golf course is a challenging, yet fair course.

The Youth Sports & Fitness Program hosts recreational leagues that are inclusive of all youth who want to learn the fundamentals of the game and to have fun.

Family & MWR at Yakima Training Center provides childcare, fitness and recreation services to active duty Service members, spouses, retirees and DOD civilians. MWR services include the Blanchard Physical Fitness Center, Child and Youth Services, Pacific Rim Café, YTC Recreation Center, RV and Vehicle Storage Lot, seasonal RV dry camp, juvenile fishing pond, archery range, Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail and access to YTC “public lands” for hunting and recreating.
